In addition to simplifying some of the relocation processes, there are two main reasons companies want to have a crane in their factory: 1) Cranes are more efficient than using a group of workers and work multiple times faster 2) Increase the level of factory or warehouse safety. Cranes are used to lift and transport materials to the farthest reaches, they can move corrosive or dangerous materials such as hot metals, chemicals and heavy loads. It should be noted that the use of cranes can reduce product or material damage as well as manpower.

Overhead cranes are used indoors and under the roof of industrial workshops and can be rotated in 6 directions, including two major models of single and double girder designed and manufactured by the Company.

  • Single girder overhead cranes: These cranes consist of one girder and two end carriage. The positive features of these cranes are the lower cost production and its light structure in comparison to the double girder cranes and typically it is manufactured up to 10 tones capacity and span of 18 meters. It can also be manufactured in smaller span up to 15 tons capacity. These types of cranes can be manufactured both manually and electrically.
Single girder ceiling cranes are highly efficient because they can be transported in both longitudinal and transverse directions, making them useful in halls and laboratories.
In this crane, the type and model of the winch determines the useful width of the crane and the maximum height that it can be mounted, winch counter weight or hoist low headroom are most commonly used.
  • Double Crane Overhead Cranes: Two girder overhead cranes consist of two grider and two cranes. The capacity of these cranes is limited by the strength of the hall structure and can be used in production halls and warehouses. Another advantage of this type of crane is the installation of two winches with higher capacity and mounting on a stroller or mounting a separate stroller on each of the beams. These types of cranes can be manufactured both electrically and manually in the company.
The two-girder overhead crane is the most suitable crane for halls that require high-capacity cranes and can be used with a higher elevation. The crane body also allows for the repair and replacement of lamps, lounge heaters and power lines.
This type of crane is more efficient because it has faster and more powerful and is able to withstand pressure. The two girder overhead cranes have a variety of designs, which has increased the product’s versatility.

Difference between single girder and double girder cranes:

  • Single girder overhead cranes are lighter than double girder overhead cranes.
  • Single girder overhead cranes are used in smaller, lower elevation locations, while double girder overhead cranes are used in larger, higher elevation spaces.
  • Single girder overhead cranes handles lighter loads while two girder overhead cranes are used for heavy loads and long loads
  • The displacement speed of two girder cranes is higher than single girder cranes.
  • The lifespan of two girder cranes is longer than its single girder type.
  • Two girder overhead cranes have restrictions on use which do not apply to single girder overhead cranes.
  • Single girder overhead cranes are cheaper than double girder overhead cranes.
  • There is a limit to the construction of single-width girder cranes even when the capacity is the same as two girder cranes.
  • In single girder overhead cranes, it is much easier to repair the hoist than two girder overhead cranes.
